The Doernbecher x Nike ACG Mountain Fly 2 is a special colorway included in Nike’s Doernbecher Freestyle collection with Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in 2023. The Nike ACG Mountain Fly “Doernbecher” was designed by Garrett Amerson, and features design elements inspired by his Pacific Northwest roots. Specifically, a forest graphic appears on the semi-translucent mesh upper, while a blue waterfall emblem can be seen on the tongue. A brown mud splatter pattern appears on the midsole and lugged rubber outsole to complete the performance trail shoe’s outdoors aesthetic. A special butterfly logo is found on the tongue, and is an homage to the memory of Garrett’s twin brother. Release date: December 2, 2023
